Trap & Nap began in 2023 while brainstorming a name for a Burning Man camp founded by a group of longtime friends who wanted to bring their own culture into the desert. Rather than recreate what already existed, the goal was to build something that reflected the music, art, energy, and late-night chaos that had shaped us long before arriving at Black Rock City.

The name was born from two opposite yet complementary personalities—a brother-and-sister duo. One embodied the hustle: the entrepreneur, the grinder, always chasing the next opportunity. The other represented the laid-back spirit: the jokester who reminds you to slow down and actually enjoy it. Together, those two energies became Trap & Nap: ambition and ease, work and play, chaos and recovery. The yin and yang at the heart of the lifestyle.

As the camp found its identity, so did the brand. What began as a temporary city in the desert became the foundation for a streetwear label shaped by culture, creativity and lived experience.

This isn't merch. It's memories and fantasies made material.
